There was a lot of mystery surrounding Jesus. Who He was, the prophesies regarding Him, and the parables He spoke in left many confused, yet wanting to know more. Relating to the parable of the soils, what we hear is the seed, and how we hear determines what that seed does in our spiritual life.
In the parable of the soils, we see that the fate of the seed reveals what kind of soil it was sown in.
Why do people read the same Bible and come away with different conclusions? Reading the Bible with sincerity is important, but it is not enough.

In Mark 3:20-35, the crowds are drawn to Jesus, but many are not there for the right reasons. The people who are moving toward the will of God are the ones who remain with Him and learn from Him.
