
The Sabbath laws pertained to the old law of Moses. During Jesus' time on earth, He lived under the old law, while living to create a New Law. The Pharisees had added their own amendments to the law of Moses, going above God's design. In this class, we see how Jesus navigated all this.

True faithfulness lives in wholehearted obedience to God, not in following structure just to check off a box.

When an outcast leper came to Jesus for healing in Mark 1:40-45, the leper was cleansed and ushered back into fellowship, while Jesus was forced to leave the city due to too much publicity. The Healer took on the leper's estrangement.
