
There was a lot of mystery surrounding Jesus. Who He was, the prophesies regarding Him, and the parables He spoke in left many confused, yet wanting to know more. Relating to the parable of the soils, what we hear is the seed, and how we hear determines what that seed does in our spiritual life.

In the parable of the soils, we see that the fate of the seed reveals what kind of soil it was sown in.

Why do people read the same Bible and come away with different conclusions? Reading the Bible with sincerity is important, but it is not enough.

Endurance is not just about being able to carry a heavy load longer, it's also about having the priorities to take a step back and recharge by spending time alone with God. There were times when Jesus stepped away from the masses to recharge in this way, and we can learn from His example.
